** The fees for Appeals will depend on the complexity of the issues in your case and the number of witnesses you intend to call to give oral evidence in court and the volume of documentary evidence required to proof your case. The costs of a Solicitor-Advocate/Barrister will depend upon the availability, experience of the Solicitor-Advocate/Barrister and the court location. We will provide a full quote once this information is available to us.

The quoted fees for all visa applications include:

  •    Taking instructions and providing legal opinion/advice

  •    Perusing documentary evidence provided to us

  •    Preparing & submitting the application and supporting documents

  •    Communicating with the Home Office and client throughout the application process

  •    Advising the client on timelines and the outcome of the application

Note: Typical timescales for all applications are between 2-6 months, for an in-country appeal is between 6-8 months, and 9-12 months for an out of country appeal, however this varies depending on the Home Office’s caseload, which is published on their website.
Please note, not included in any of the above fees are Disbursements and fees payable to the Home Office. A link to the Home Office fee information page has been provided and the client should check for further information. Example of other disbursement are:

Translation rates vary according to length, and are charged per words. We shall provide a quote
before instructing a third party and shall handle the payment of disbursements on your behalf to
ensure a smooth process.

You are not liable for VAT if you have no permission to live in the UK, if you are a visitor or if you are
making an application from abroad for an entry clearance.

Our priority is to protect our client’s interest and to advise client on how to minimise legal and/or litigation costs.

LEGAL FEES

Our costs are based on a charge for work to be done or work done. We will agree on hourly rate for work to be carried out on the client’s behalf.
Hourly rate for the Principal Solicitor is £278 per hour plus VAT
Hourly rate for Solicitor is £233 per hour plus VAT
Hourly rate for Paralegal and Caseworker is £134 per hour plus VAT
Our hourly rates will not include any Solicitor-Advocate or Barrister’s fees to attend court hearings or mediation meetings to resolve matters out of court. Our hourly rates will not include Court fees which will base on the value of your claim and court fees can be found at:

In order to assist our cash flow and to keep you abreast of costs, we can deliver monthly or quarterly accounts to you. Should you wish for this service, then please instruct us regarding this and, any limit upon costs.
